High School English

Focuses on four primary topics: rhetorical analysis, claim and evidence, reasoning and organisation, and language style learning. This course will concentrate on nonfiction reading materials, allowing students to recognise and understand the author’s use of rhetorical strategies and approaches. The weekly classes will concentrate on the types of questions students may face on the AP English exam, which include comprehensive essays, rhetorical analysis essays, and argumentative essays. There will also be a strategy course for the multiple-choice portion of the AP English exam.
